Cafte is supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) of the People's Republic of China in 2002, technically maintained by the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center (ATPC) of MOA. It is an indispensable part of China Agricultural Information Service System for Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, one of the most important agricultural information service systems in China at national level.
