Cafte is supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) of the People's
Republic of China in 2002, technically maintained by the Agricultural Trade
Promotion Center (ATPC) of MOA. It is an indispensable part of China
Agricultural Information Service System for Foreign Trade and Economic
Cooperation, one of the most important agricultural information service systems
in China at national level.
Cafte is committed to helping farmers and ranchers both in China and
overseas. Facilitated with a national information network, it intends to provide
information services for foreign trade and economic cooperation in the
agricultural sector.
To Chinese agricultural sector, Cafte intends to introduce the latest
information on and development in agriculture in the world in the Chinese
language.
To foreign agricultural sector, Cafte intends, in the English language,
to
- Introduce Agricultural conditions in China to people overseas,

Introduce local life, people, customs, sceneries in rural China to people all
over the world,
- Help open markets for foreigners to buy Chinese
products,
- Provide information about investment conditions and projects in
different parts of China for potential foreign investment,

important issues concerning Chinese agricultural policies and regulations to
people overseas.
