On June 14, 2005, the Ministry of Agriculture of P.R. China held a briefing for the 3^rd China AG Trade Fair coming in this October. The representatives are from foreign embassies, international business councils, specialized associations and companies from 25 countries or regions. Mr. Niu Dun, Vice Minister of Agriculture of China and Chief of the Leading Group of Preparation for the 3^rd China AG Trade Fair, as well as the officials from some MOA departments are also present on the briefing.

In his speech, Mr. Niu mentioned that the 3^rd China AG Trade Fair would be held in this October in Beijing. He briefed the representatives on China’s farm trade in recent years and the last two sessions of China AG Trade Fair. The Vice Minister also informed the representatives of the objective and principle of the 3^rd Session, and especially some activities to be newly introduced on the fair.

To encourage the continual support from the embassies, companies and other related institutions, Mr. Niu warmly invited their representatives to participate in the coming trade fair on which they will find both excellent farm produce and sound business opportunities.
