Yanbian Huawei Rabbit Industry Technology and Development Co., Ltd., consisting of Huawei Rabbit Breeding Farm, Huawei Food Processing Company and one feed mill, is operated in the model of ”company + farmer” in which farmers raise rabbits and the company processes and finishes final products, so the company enjoys a secured raw material supply. The rabbit products from the company now are very popular and welcomed by the customers home and abroad.
In 2006, the company was listed by Yanbian People’s Government as “Key Industrialized Agricultural Dragon Head Enterprises. Rabbit meat products with brand name as “Weiwang” have been awarded as “Product with Well Known Brand Name” in Jilin province. Rabbits produced from the company have been exported to Korea. The general manager Mr. Lang Wei was also honored as “Pioneering Entrepreneur” by the provincial and municipal governments.
The company owns Huawei Food Company and Huawei Rabbit Breeding Company which can provide quality breeding parent rabbits all the year round. The company also purchases rabbits raised by farmers who have contract with the company.
